DEMUSIS project was presented at the 46th AEC Annual Congress and General Assembly which took place from 7th to 9th November 2019 at Conservatorio di Musica "G. Verdi", Turin (Italy). The event entitled "Re-imagining Success?" addressed two main topics, those of entrepreneurship and digitisation, both highly relevant to the DEMUSIS project, aiming to bring out burning issues that arise from the change in the music job market and therefore affect the music profession.
On Friday November 8th, DEMUSIS project contact person Ivana Perković from the Faculty of Music – University of Arts in Belgrade, presented the project in the session Re-imagining Entrepreneurship: presentations by DEMUSIS and RENEW Projects, the Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Innovation Programme at Reina Sofia and the SMS Entrepreneurship Working Group, with participation of Esther Viñuela from Escuela Superior de Mùsica Reina Sofia in Madrid (Spain), Renee Jonker from Royal Conservatoire The Hague (The Netherlands) and Payam Gul Susanni from Yasar University of Music in Izmir (Turkey). The presentation, which included insights into the students’ and teachers’ survey on learning outcomes and needs at P1 and P3, drew a great attention and confirmed topicality of the DEMUSIS project and its objectives.
