Teacher training study visit to Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre cancelled due to COVID-19

Teacher training study visit to Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (LMTA) in Vilnius planned for 15-21 March 2020 was cancelled due to COVID-19 outbreak right before the cancellation of the process of studies at LMTA effective from March 12, and the declaration of the State of Emergency in Serbia of March 15.

Teachers from Serbian academic partner institutions – namely, 6 teachers from the Faculty of Music of the University of Arts in Belgrade (P1), 3 teachers from the Academy of Arts of the University of Novi Sad (P2) and 3 teachers from the Faculty of Philology and Arts of the University of Kragujevac (P3), were planned to take part in training in the field of implementation of diverse digital and entrepreneurial approaches to music, such as digital methods of music research and teaching, innovative practices of music direction, distance and e-learning, music entrepreneurship and management and working with LoLa equipment. Study visit to Lithuanian academic partner is part of WP3 – Staff training and development of teaching.

The new date of the teacher training study visit to Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre is yet unknown and subject to further national (Serbian and Lithuanian) and EU decisions, measures and regulations regarding COVID-19 health crisis.
