DEMUSIS project to be presented at virtual conference

DEMUSIS project will be presented at the virtual conference Teaching Music Online in Higher Education as part of the address „The European Association of Conservatoires (AEC) and its actions regarding the digitization of the higher music education sector in Europe” by Sara Primiterra from the European Association of Conservatoires (AEC). She will talk about the actions AEC is taking in the field of digitization through the leadership and participation in projects involving the use of digital technologies in higher music education, such as DEMUSIS project. Teaching Music Online in Higher Education is an online research-informed conference on the practice of teaching music online at the Higher Ed/ tertiary levels. The conference, sponsored by the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (Melbourne, Australia), will address aligned topics and challenges faced by teachers, students and school leaders interested, and/or engaged in how to teach or perform music online. Researchers, practitioners, and graduate students from across the globe will gather together and share their ideas and vision for creating effective and meaningful online music learning and performance for students.

The virtual conference provides participants from all around the globe with opportunity to take in the keynote speakers via live stream (or recording), academic presentations, live stream discussions, and live stream workshops. It will take place on May 15-16 across 48 hours to support global attendees with live stream keynotes at a time that is manageable for Australia, Canada/US and Europe.
