Entrepreneurial bootcamp for music students Music – Here and Now [Muzika – ovde i sada] was held in Serbia (Belgrade – Novi Sad – Kragujevac) from 10th to 24th of May 2021, with participation of students from the Faculty of Music, University of Arts in Belgrade – P1, the Academy of Arts, University of Novi Sad – P2 and the Faculty of Philology and Arts, University of Kragujevac – P3), and both teachers from P1-P3 and P4 (The Royal Conservoatire The Hague) in the role of coaches.
The bootcamp was held in hybrid format, in accordance with ongoing measures for fighting COVID19 epidemic in Serbia and EU, with online participation of teachers from the Hague and live on-spot coaching and mentoring work of their colleagues in Belgrade, Novi Sad and Belgrade.
Nine student projects were realized (P1: 5, P2: 2 P3: 3) and publicly presented by 40 students (P1: 21 P2: 5 P3: 13) of all levels of study (BA, MA, PhD) of modernized (Composition, Music Performance, Music Sciences, Music and Media, Music in Media) and new study programs (Music direction and Applied Research in Music).
The entrepreneurial bootcamp for music students in Serbia Music – Here and Now is a follow-up to the activity 3.1. Teacher training at P4 and was implemented in the framework of project activities 4.3 (Implementation of modernized and new study programs) which includes teaching study visits of EU teachers to Serbian academic partner institutions, as well as the project activity 7.6 involving public presentation of student projects.
